Privacy Policy

18+ augmented-reality place service

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Tarezin collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Tarezin iOS application, related APIs, website pages, and support channels. Tarezin is an 18+ augmented-reality place experience: users open a physical place, view nearby content, contribute content when location rules allow it, and interact with other users.

This policy applies to Tarezin's public release in Brazil. For Brazilian users and other situations where Brazilian law applies, this policy is intended to describe Tarezin's personal-data practices under the Lei Geral de Protecao de Dados Pessoais (LGPD). Tarezin is not a Kids Category app, is not intended for children, and is available only to users who are at least 18 years old.

2. Controller and Privacy Contact

For the current individual launch, the legal operator/controller responsible for decisions about the personal data processed to operate Tarezin is Sayed Abdul Basir Samimi, except where a third-party provider acts as an independent controller for its own service. Hosting, email, storage, authentication, and infrastructure providers may act as operators/processors or independent controllers depending on the provider and service.

Privacy contact and data-subject request channel: support@tarezin.com. If a formal encarregado/data protection officer is appointed later, this policy should be updated with the appropriate role or contact.

3. Information We Process

Account, age, and profile information

When you create or maintain an account, Tarezin may process your email address, display name, password credential in protected form, profile biography, country, optional date of birth if you provide it, 18+ confirmation status and timestamp, and profile photo. Tarezin does not require collecting a full birthdate when age confirmation is enough.

You may also sign in with Apple or Google. For provider sign-in, Tarezin receives the identifiers and account details needed to authenticate your account. Where needed for Sign in with Apple account deletion support, the backend may store an encrypted Apple refresh token and related timestamp.

Location and augmented-reality information

Tarezin uses precise device location while you use the app to identify nearby places, enforce proximity rules, attach posts to the correct physical place, and enable nearby interactions with banners and 3D objects. The app may process location coordinates, location accuracy, heading, and the coordinates associated with place content, banners, and 3D objects.

The app uses the camera for augmented-reality viewing and capture. When you choose to save or upload media, the app may request photo-library access. Device capabilities may also be used to record or save AR captures at your direction.

Content and social activity

Tarezin processes content and activity you choose to create or submit, including profile text, comments, photos, videos, generated thumbnails, uploaded 3D USDZ files, posts, visibility selections, likes, friend requests and friendships, blocks, reports, and user-directed shares. Place posts can be visible to Public, Friends, or Private audiences. 3D objects are public place content in the current release.

Public content may be viewable through feeds, place experiences, profiles, and share links. Public 3D objects may be shareable and downloadable where the app offers those actions.

Support, feedback, reports, takedown, and moderation records

If you send feedback or contact support, Tarezin may process your message, feedback category, optional contact email, account identifier, and limited app context such as source screen, current mode, selected theme, category title, and app version.

When you report content or a user, Tarezin processes the report target, your account identifier, an optional reason, timestamps, and a limited snapshot of the reported target. Moderation records may include review status, reviewing administrator, review time, administrator notes, and action taken.

When you submit or are involved in a copyright/takedown request, Tarezin may process claimant name, claimant email, rights type, content URL, target identifiers, safe target snapshots, request description, requested action, good-faith confirmation, review status, reviewing administrator, administrator notes, and resolution. These records are handled separately from ordinary user reports because they may be needed for legal compliance, dispute handling, or safety review.

Technical information

The app and backend process technical information needed to provide and secure the service, such as API authentication tokens, cache entries, uploaded-file paths, request records, application records, and local device preferences. Production infrastructure may process request logs and IP addresses as needed to operate, secure, debug, and protect the service.

4. Legal Bases and How We Use Information

Where LGPD applies, Tarezin processes personal data only when there is an applicable legal basis. Depending on the context, the legal bases may include performance of a contract or preliminary steps related to the service, compliance with legal or regulatory obligations, legitimate interests that do not override fundamental rights and freedoms, regular exercise of rights in judicial, administrative, or arbitration proceedings, protection of life or physical safety, fraud prevention and security, or consent where consent is specifically requested.

When processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent through available app settings or by contacting support, subject to legal retention, security, fraud-prevention, and operational limits. Some data is necessary to provide core Tarezin features; if you do not provide it or withdraw permission, certain features may not work.

5. Automated Checks and Manual Review

Tarezin applies automated objectionable-text checks to selected user-editable text fields, including profile text and comments. These checks are limited and may make mistakes. Photos, videos, thumbnails, and 3D files are not comprehensively understood by that text filter and may require user reports and manual review.

Users can block another user or report an upload, comment, profile, or 3D object. Authorized administrators can review reports and use available moderation actions, including dismissing a report, removing reported content, or clearing a reported public profile.

6. Sharing and Public Visibility

Tarezin currently does not include advertising placements, sponsorship placements, or ad-network SDKs, and does not sell personal information or use the app to track you across other companies' apps and websites for advertising. If advertising, sponsorship, analytics, or tracking features are added later, the Privacy Policy, App Store disclosures, and any required consent flows should be updated before those features are launched.

7. Retention and Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your account from the iOS Settings screen. The implemented deletion flow supports password, Apple, and Google accounts with reauthentication appropriate to the sign-in method.

When deletion completes, Tarezin removes account records, authentication tokens, sessions, password-reset records, profile photo, uploaded images and videos, generated thumbnails, owned 3D USDZ files, and relevant cache entries. Related user-owned posts, comments, likes, friendships, blocks, reports, and 3D records are removed through the backend deletion workflow and database relationships. Collaborative banners are released to the system instead of being deleted so the place experience can continue.

Copyright/takedown request records may be retained separately from account deletion where needed for legal compliance, dispute handling, abuse prevention, or operational records. When the related user account is deleted, the backend can detach the account reference while preserving the legal request record.

Where Apple credentials and the stored Apple refresh token are available, the backend attempts to revoke the Sign in with Apple authorization during deletion. Deleting your Tarezin account does not delete your Apple ID, Google account, or accounts you hold with other services.

Limited copies may remain temporarily in protected backups or logs for up to 90 days, where required for security, recovery, debugging, legal compliance, audit records, regular exercise of rights, or abuse prevention. Tarezin aims to keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

8. Your LGPD Rights, Choices, and Requests

Depending on your location and applicable law, including LGPD where applicable, you may have rights to request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary or unlawful data, portability, information about sharing, information about consent choices and consequences, withdrawal of consent where consent is the legal basis, review of certain automated decisions where applicable, and petition to the competent data-protection authority.

You may update supported profile information in the app, choose post visibility, block users, submit reports, and delete your account in Settings. Some requests may be limited where retention or processing is necessary for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, protection of rights, or the rights and freedoms of others.

You can request an active-service account data export while signed in. The export is intended to help answer access and portability requests and excludes protected secrets such as passwords, API tokens, session secrets, Apple refresh tokens, and internal security values.

You can submit a privacy request for access, correction, deletion help, restriction, objection, portability, consent withdrawal, or general privacy support while signed in. If you cannot access your account, contact support@tarezin.com. We may need to verify that you are the account holder before responding to off-app privacy requests.

Correction requests can often be handled directly in the app by editing supported profile information. Account deletion should use the in-app deletion flow when possible because it includes the required reauthentication step.

9. Copyright and Takedown Contact

If you believe content in Tarezin infringes your copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, image, voice, or other rights, contact support@tarezin.com or use the copyright/takedown link in the iOS Settings Legal section. Include enough information to identify the content, your rights, your contact information, a good-faith statement, and the action requested. We will review notices and may request more information, dismiss the request, resolve it outside the app, suspend publication while reviewing, preserve records where needed, or remove app content where appropriate.

10. Security

Tarezin uses technical and organizational measures intended to protect information, including authenticated API access, protected password handling, token-based sessions, role-limited moderation routes, safe file deletion rules, encrypted Apple refresh token storage where configured, and cache invalidation. No system can guarantee absolute security.

11. Children and Age Limit

Tarezin is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the service. Tarezin is not intended for children and does not knowingly permit account creation by anyone under 18.

12. International Transfers and Providers

Tarezin may use service providers located in Brazil or other countries for hosting, storage, email, authentication, support, security, and infrastructure. This means personal data may be transferred internationally when needed to operate the service. Where LGPD or other applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, Tarezin should use appropriate contractual, technical, and organizational measures with its providers.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. The current version will be posted at tarezin.com/privacy with an updated effective date. If a change is material, Tarezin should provide notice in a reasonable way, such as in-app notice, website notice, or another appropriate channel.

14. Contact
